Amber came across Mindfulness as a way of managing her stress, anxiety and fear as a result of being diagnosed in 2008 with a chronic disease and wanting to find a way that helped her manage this personal challenge and support her health and wellbeing. Amber has been practising mindfulness for many years, making it an integral part of her own life and it is this combination of advanced study, attendance at Master Workshops, in particular Chronic Pain and Cancer, Annual Silent Retreats and personal experience and commitment that shapes her success as a Mindfulness Teacher.

Her passion is helping people find ways to work with the challenges life delivers to us and to find some new tools to help us sit alongside these challenges rather than be overwhelmed by them.

Amber has been teaching those who have or are experiencing Cancer and teaches them new ways to manage and support themselves to cope better with their diagnosis. Amber has delivered courses funded by the STARS Appeal at Salisbury District Hospital and is currently working with Wessex Cancer Trust.

Amber is also a qualified Personal Development Coach and has worked as a Senior Manager  in Local Government and Non-Goverment organisations for over 25 years previously and has a great understanding of work place stress and delivers courses within a work setting where businesses and organisations are seeking a way to reduce stress and develop the personal resilience of their workforce
